The information that you upload within the Provenance platform will be published within each of your live Proof Points across your product portfolio. This means that you have full control of the type of information that becomes public to your shoppers, and what this might look like.
However, we understand that transparency is a journey. Since transparency is needed for accountability, we always encourage businesses to be as transparent as possible. But if youβre worried about sharing commercially sensitive or personal information, then please do redact this before submitting your evidence via the platform.
The minimum information required to go public is listed under 'Information you'll need to share in this Proof Point' within each Proof Point description in the Provenance Framework. As long as the evidence provided meets the Proof Point criteria, all other information can be redacted.
Our recommendation to brands that might meet Proof Point criteria, but do not want to have documents published, is to have a Proof Point verified by a third party. To achieve this, please read our guide here.
