We’re delighted to announce our new Proof Points which both build upon our popular 'Donates to Charity' Proof Point.

The first, Championing a Cause, goes one step beyond Donates to Charity Proof Point and applies to brands that are directly involved in advancing a cause they are passionate about that’s related to their industry, by playing an active role in delivering their impact, beyond giving monetary donations.

This could be… a brand that runs its own charitable foundation or operates a scholarship programme for underprivileged students.

When submitting a Championing a Cause Proof Point, please provide information about the project, the projected impact and how the commitment is guaranteed in the long term.

Our second recent Proof Point, Purpose Before Profit, sets a high bar and goes one step further. It applies to brands that put their purpose before their profit by donating 100% of net profits to an environmental or social cause. To ensure the mission is always considered in business decisions, a legally binding governance measure must be in place to protect this commitment. Patagonia is an excellent example of a brand that meets this criteria.
