This Proof Point is applicable for products that have a minimum of 20% certified-organic ingredients but don’t carry an organic certification at the product level.
To evidence the Organic Ingredients Proof Point please submit both:
- your completed Organic Ingredients cover sheet
- the organic certificates for all organic ingredients in your product(s)
All organic ingredients certificates should be consolidated within 1 PDF, along with the completed spreadsheet as the front page (tip: save all files as PDF and then use a PDF merge tool to consolidate).
Guide to completing the Organic Ingredients Cover Sheet
- Please list each Organic Ingredient in the Key section as a separate row along with the Certificate Name (can be a reference to the ingredient name/document title).
- In the Key section on the sheet, the column Certificate # is the certificate number you allocate to each of your organic certificates. This is so that we can easily reconcile each certificate (and relevant ingredient) to each product.
- In the Product and Ingredients section of the sheet, please include:
- The product(s) that include a certified Organic Ingredient
- The INCI list of the product
- The organic ingredient of the product
- The percentage of organic ingredient of the product (must be above 20%)
- The certificate number which corresponds to the organic ingredient(s) in the product
