This Proof Point is for products which contain ingredients that were converted from materials that would have otherwise been discarded.
To evidence the Upcycled Ingredients Proof Point please submit both:
- your completed Upcycled Ingredients cover sheet
- the proof of purchase for all upcycled ingredients in your product(s)
All proof of purchases should be consolidated within 1 PDF, along with the completed spreadsheet as the front page (tip: save all files as PDF and then use a PDF merge tool to consolidate).
Guide to completing the Fair Trade Ingredients Cover Sheet
- Please list each Upcycled Ingredient in the Key section as a separate row along with the Proof of Purchase reference (can be a reference to the ingredient name/document title).
- In the Key section on the sheet, the column Proof of purchase # is the number you allocate to each ingredient proof of purchase. This is so that we can easily reconcile each proof of purchase (and ingredient) to each product.
- In the Product and Ingredients section of the sheet, please include:
- The product(s) that include an upcycled ingredient
- The INCI list of the product
- The upcycled ingredient of the product
- The percentage of upcycled ingredient of the product
- The proof of purchase # which corresponds to the upcycled ingredient(s) in the product
