This Proof Point is applicable for products that contain a minimum of 10% fair trade ingredients but are not certified as fair trade.
To evidence the Fair Trade Ingredients Proof Point please submit both:
- your completed Fair Trade Ingredients cover sheet
- the fair trade certificates for all fair trade ingredients in your product(s)
All fair trade ingredients certificates should be consolidated within 1 PDF, along with the completed spreadsheet as the front page (tip: save all files as PDF and then use a PDF merge tool to consolidate).
Guide to completing the Fair Trade Ingredients Cover Sheet
- Please list each Fair Trade Ingredient in the Key section as a separate row along with the Certificate Name (can be a reference to the ingredient name/document title).
- In the Key section on the sheet, the column Certificate # is the certificate number you allocate to each of your fair trade certificates. This is so that we can easily reconcile each certificate (and relevant ingredient) to each product.
- In the Product and Ingredients section of the sheet, please include:
- The product(s) that include a fair trade certified ingredient
- The INCI list of the product
- The fair trade ingredient of the product
- The percentage of fair trade ingredient of the product (must be above 10%)
- The certificate number which corresponds to the fair trade ingredient(s) in the product
